Didn't use in a boat but as a cable pass through in the rear deck of a vehicle getting a buffer battery and LIDAR system installed, to create a clean, but functional look...worked perfectly for my needs but I was able to build around the design as opposed to buying for a specific fit.

Well made and durable. Fingers are a bit stiff and read the spec's from other reviewers - I had to expand the slits just a touch to get my connector through
