My brother made a hole in my bedroom closet wall so he could spy on our mom in the shower. She found the hole and of course he blamed it on me. I never even looked through it when she was in there, only when he was. So anyway she said I had to fix the hole. I watched a video on YouTube called closing up the glory hole and this is the stuff the video recommend to repair the wall hole. So far it is holding up even though my brother still messes with it. Looks like he's trying to push things through it idk. There is some left for future use.

I have been using spackle to repair holes and cracks in walls and ceilings for decades. In all that time I have never used a product that failed to perform as advertised . . . until now. This product does not work as well as nearly every other product I've used in the past. It shrinks upon drying and continues to do so even after multiple applications applied following drying of those that were first attempted. Even after three or four applications I can still see an indication of the patched area that was originally only 1" in diameter and 1/2" deep. Buy a different product.

Beware: I got fooled by "convention into confusing 1/2 PINT [who has ever seen that in construction?] with my expection of 1/2 POUNT. Insanely expensive!

I spent 2 hours filling holes in my walls only to see the next day that the filler somehow evaporated off of my walls. You couldn't even tell I put the putty there. I don't even understand how that could happen.

Even at room temp it took a while to 'dry'. Even then it had zero structural integrity and when in contact with water turned to soup instantly.
