What was I thinking? Very small orifices pushing water out and located in dirt. All of the drips that I have were eventually plugged up because I eliminated this VERY important link in a drip system that is reliable. I am testing these units and if they work as hoped, If they do, I will be buying a bunch of these.

Maybe filters some sediment, but definitely doesn't reduce the scale, still getting a lot in my dishwasher.

We have so much scale in our water that an inline scale filter installed on our evaporative cooler stopped working after a month. I sawed it open and it was a solid block of salt. I was resigned to replacing the filter every month, or building a manifold with half a dozen filters and then I found this! It works perfectly. The advertising is a little deceptive. It says you can wash it out, which implies you can keep using it forever, but evidently, the beads inside will eventually stop working. But so far, it's been on our swamp cooler for 6 months. The cooler runs 24/7 and the water is scale free!

They do not filter the water well and sometimes, the pressure of the water, makes it come out in half.

We just had washer and dryer installed at our home. We were previously dealing with over calcified water at our previous home, and find that the water is a bit hard where we are. Although these are not full water softeners, they do a great you of filtering the water in line before going into our washing (and dryer for steam feature). I installed in late July, will be replacing in late November unless it shows earlier signs of wear. I believe the recommended interval for these is 3-4 months.

I have hard water and I filled up a bucket of water from the hose with the filter attached. I left it out on the covered patio for a few days or more and the water was still crystal clear! No yucky film on top of the water like it normally would have.

Can't tell if these filters are working or not. I have it hooked up to a hose my wife uses to water plants. The only thing killing the plants is the evening chill, personally not complaining.

I put these on my washing machine supply lines to help cut back on the high mineral levels in my water. So far so good! I’ve done 4 loads of clothes so far and they look brighter and feel softer.

The price was great An you get 2 for that great price , it comes with the rubber washers so it's a tight fit an dose not leak . We are using this for our house boat at the dock Where we connect to get shore fresh water . The second one I'm going to make a video an post what the inside looks like before use an after the suggested time of use before having to change it ..
