my company provides the more basic full brim msa hard hats and i wanted a nicer one vents. it's great especially with the sweatband accessory. I just with it got a little bigger for wear with a beanie or hoodie.

It is lightweight, easily adjustable, and looks like it will last a long time. The top shell is a bit hard to clean. I started to keep it in a bag to prevent any more dirt from sticking to the top.

Worn these since '73. Don't expect AC but venting helps. Reflect IR doesn't like 100deg and sweat. Cuttin oaks and brush since I bought it, roughly 12 wks. With or without IR coating it's a good hardhat. My best guess is the coating isn't matched to the expansion of the plastic. Cracks appear first then the sweat river starts breaking the bond.

Not worth it . The cooling festures is not functioning during the hot and humid conditions .

Working road construction in Louisiana tough and I would not say that this hat makes it easy but it is WAY better than the standard plastic shell. This is now something I will never be without in heat!

It's made with USA materials! This style absolutely makes a world of difference in the direct sunlight with the reflective liner. Absolutely would buy again

Love the hard hat. Work in the South Pacific Islands. Significant difference as long as the reflective cover coating held up use it for about nine months and now the coding has completely worn off. Always noted a big difference from this hat and the other hats we have on the project. Would like to see if they have a kit to repair the Reflect IR cooling Thermal Barrier.

Working out in West Texas Cooling technology works but hardhat is a bit heavy.

Had it for about a week now working 10's on a bridge deck, so all sun no shade. My head seems to get a little less fried so I'm happy with it. Just as comfortable as any other noggin cover, nothing really to write home about. Also the aluminum lining makes it more difficult for Dr. X to read my thoughts.

Much cooler than a typical hard hat. This will definitely be my hard hat for when it's hot out. One thing I should mention. I called MSA and asked if the Large V-Gard Fas-Trac III suspension would fit this hat. I was told no. I tried it and found that it works perfectly.
