how many times do i go to do a repair on mower deck spindles and find the threads are messed up (or when i have messed up the threads by dropin g a spindle shaft or pounding on the end of a spindle directly (don't do that, put a nut on it all the way until flush and then tap it)..anyway, this does the job!!

    Was trying to replace the wheel hubs on my car. They were rusted to the axle and I ended up hammering the axle a little too hard and a fit of rage. Ordered this to fix the threading and it worked like a champ. Great quality definitely recommend. Only easy to use if you have pliers in my limited experience. Doesn't does it come with a handle at all so you need some other way to twist it. Also pressure helps a lot if you have the ability to do so.

    I had a polishing kit meant for a drill and I was able to cut a 5/16"-24 thread for my Milwaukee polisher (female adapter) onto the shank of the spindle. It now fits perfectly into the adapter. Now I can use the polishing kit with my M12 polisher. Nice! The die worked perfectly... I can't talk to it's durability but the threads were clean.
