Biggest problem is that the illustrations aren't that easy to follow; I've seen much better ones elsewhere. In order to compress the tying to something that will fit on this size card, sometimes what would normally be several steps are compressed into a single drawing, making following difficult, especially in low-light or high-stress situations. Saw it recommended on a web site and bought it without looking as closely as I should have. Convenient size, seems well-constructed, but the rivet holding the pages together almost (not quite) covers up some of the text. Doesn't describe uses of the various knots consistently.

Sturdy set--well made. I bought several and created knot sets using this card set, some paracord, and a carabiner for my 4th and 5th grade Webelos and Arrow of Light Cub Scouts.

I couldn't write enough to do these justice. I have taken mine on multiple travels and I now practice knots wherever I am. I have also picked up a few extra for other packs and for friends. The only thing better is a book on knots--but, there isn't room enough on the cards to discuss what can go into a book. Great stocking-stuffers for the holidays and gifts for any other time.

Nicely done! Pros: Printed on stiff plastic cards, making them waterproof; Love that they are attached together by an eyelet, can put a lanyard through the eyelet with practice string Illustrations are easy to follow. Cons: None. These are great cards to stick in your backpack to have with you on hikes, etc.
