Our vacuum tended to get stuck up against the stairs and couldn't continue to move about. My pool tech recommended these which I purchased as well as the hose floats to help keep the hose upright and not flipping on it's side. Between the 2 our problem has been resolved!

A bit challenging to put on but works very well. Vacuum does not climb as far up the walls but has no more issues with getting stuck on drain.
