My pool was still very green after increasing the Total Alkalinity from 50 to 100 and reducing the pH from around 8.0 to 7.4. Research indicated the high pH could have oxidized some of the metal in the equipment, coloring the water a nice shade of lime. I put the device in the pump strainer, and three days later the water was a healthy blue again. My wife was very impressed that I figured it out without calling her brother (a pool builder/servicer).

This product works on a lot of different metals. My pool is constantly collecting aluminum and copper. I put it in the skimmer right before the pump and it does a full job and continues for over three months. I strongly suggest you try it, but please make sure your pH is in the correct range The entire time for this to truly work if your pH is in the correct range this product works.

I had metals in my water. Through the use of this product, I was able to remove the metal from the pool. I had to use multiple pouches due to high metals, but it did work and pull was back to normal!

I had a lot of metal in my pool that took me a long time to figure out the source. This product help me keep down the content and lessen the staining that was occurring, although it didn't fully prevent it. Now that I have that problem resolved I don't need these anymore.

Metals reduce chlorine/sanitizer efficiency and cause pool stains. Reducing metals is a necessary part of improving water quality. I typically replace once a year during the early Spring.

You can never be to safe in the case you have metals in your pool. I had a real issue with iron and magnesium in my pool. This keeps all of the metals out of my pool water. Will keep using this forever.

It just sits in the filter. Hoping it's doing it's job. I thought it might be too rough to sit in there when the pump is circulating. Nah, it just rolls around in there.

We tend to have metals in our City Water. This causes staining on my pool surfaces. I drop this baby in my skimmer, and it handles all the metal for me and leaves my pool clear and my surfaces white. Nothing else to do.

To lower my pool water copper I have used this product and the smaller 1.0 cloth packs at the same time for an 8400 gallon pool. I have done this several times. This 4.0 pack is supposed to remove 4ppm and the smaller pack 1.0 ppm copper for a total of 5. They do nothing to reduce my .4 ppm (that right point .4 in 8400 gallons. Useless. I think it's scam. Sequestering agents work best.

The cuLator works way better and lasts longer than typical hot tub solutions for removing metals from water. Makes our tub water crystal clear, and when added promptly after filling the tub, prevents rust "high water" marks. Great gadget.

Every year we refill the pool after winterizing. Our well water has a perfect ph, but oh the mineral content is high (pretty sure iron). I always bought the C U Lator cloth bags, but somewhere along the line, it seems they went to a 1, 2 or 4.0. Is this new or did I just never notice? Anyway, the 1 and 2 didn't work anymore, so I purchased the 4.0 in the plastic cage. Worked like a charm, but more expensive to the single cloth packet we always used with great results previously.

This is it. This is the one. After 2 years of fighting with iron in my pool from our well (installed as a deeper alternative to our original unreliable well in 2020) water, this is the solution. Our water tested as 1.82ppm of iron. I tried using Metal Out and it worked sporadically to clear the water, but doesn't actually remove the iron. It just hides it for it to become a problem again later. The CuLator actually fixed the problem and removed the iron. Last year this wasn't an option because I was using the tiny pump that came with our pool. This year I ran PVC from our large pump for our spa and was able to put this in the pump basket. Within a couple of days, the color was gone. I'll definitely be using this again next year.
