Picked this up for my old Craftsman air tank after the plastic valbe finally broke for good. This is an all metal design and should last longer than the original. It was a direct replacement.

Nice repair kit for the money. They replaced the plastic on and off red valve wheel with a metal one so it will not break.

I liked this well enough to buy a 2nd one. But the main brass fitting needs to be a bit taller so you can put a wrench on it with the ports full. It is neither metric or english! Get your adjustable wrench out to tighten it.

This is the one to buy. The 'metal' shut-off knob only needs a slight bit of pressure to hold 120 psi for over two weeks.
