There are no health hazards with Acousta-Stuf and no mask or gloves are needed when using this product; the melting point is a very high 490°F. Most sealed and vented enclosures require 1/2 lb. of damping material per cubic foot of enclosure. This is a small sealed box for a 2012 Mustang I should have bought two bags because it could have took one bag and a half to fill this box properly but I stretched the one bag and made it work and I also glued it to the sides with the spray glue worked great and gave my Bucks A Better Sound overall pretty expensive though

Stuffed this stuff into my Yamaha 6490. Significant boost to clarity and bass performance. Bass is tight and musical. Best part is the increase in clarity. My humble 6490's now sound like premium speakers! I had also replaced the stock electrolyte capacitors with Dayton Audio polypropylene ones. With both these changes, you can convert stock 6490 to high end speakers.
