I got this for my kids because there’s not much available between crayola (basically printer paper) and canson (art student quality). I bought this at $0.14 per sheet. I’m beginning to learn watercolor, so I thought I’d use it myself for practicing techniques and warming up for a painting. I couldn’t even make it through a whole painting. It’s like they repackaged heavy sketch paper. Soaks up the water immediately, dulls the colors, and doesn’t not allow for blending or lifting. It’s not bad paper, it’s just not watercolor paper. It might actually be better for little kids because the don’t want their colors to bleed together, but I think there are cheaper options for that. Photo shows a side by side of what I started on this paper vs. what i painted on canson 140lb cold press. Same paints, brushes, techniques, etc. if I hadn’t tried both I would assume that I was just hopeless at painting.

Nice thick watercolor paper. I buy this for my toddler because I want her to use quality materials for art. As any toddler would she uses it in a variety of ways, sometimes soaked in water, sometimes just with hands rubbing it. It stands up very well to rough use and doesn't tear or rip or get holes. It does curl up a bit when dried if it is soaked through but will flatten if placed under a book for a day. Definitely recommend.

I thought this was a pad, not loose paper, but it is as described. Any amount of dissatisfaction is due to me not reading the description properly.

This is the weirdest watercolor paper I've ever used. Sometimes the water sits on top of it, and other times it clumps and kind of just absorbs into the paper. Then I realized that it was easier to paint on what felt like the 'back'- the slightly less textured side. Counter intuitive, but okay?
