Product Description
When Pacific Foods set out to make a non-dairy coconut beverage, they were determined to let the natural flavor of the coconut shine through. The key ingredient, of course, is organic coconut water. It not only gives the drink a natural sweetness, it increases its nutritional content and enhances the coconut flavor.
But they also use the cream of the coconut to create what they call, "two layers of authentic, coconut flavor with the healthy richness of coconut milk."
Delicious on its own, as a tropical addition to coffee, smoothies and baked goods, or used in place of canned coconut milk to lighten up savory dishes, the beverage comes in three flavors: Original, Unsweetened Original and Unsweetened Vanilla.
This is a great choice if you're lactose intolerant, and coconut milk is often a staple fat source for those following a Paleo diet. From a nutritional perspective, it's an excellent choice. It's high in saturated fatty acids and medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), which are both easily burned as fuel by the body.
Pacific's coconut has no carrageenan and no added cane sugar. Hin potassium, it's a natural hydrator and an excellent source of vitamin D and vitamin B12.
All of Pacific's new coconut beverages are certified organic and free of additives and GMOs, as well as vegan, dairy-free, soy-free and gluten-free. They're packaged in BPA-free, shelf-stable cartons.
