Great for oven cooking to stay safe and avoid scalding. The fabric is thick multilayered design. Its big enough to covers whole hand up to wrist for extra safety. Easy to hold hot plates and pizza boards.

The material is great and it really isolates the heat away from your hand. However, this is a really big mitt. You need really big hands for it to fit well. The thumb angle is a bit extreme as well compared to a standard Oven/BBQ mitt. If you have small hands, this BBQ mitt will be difficult to use, however, if you have large hands, it's a good fit... Not the greatest, but good (of the thumb angle was less extreme, it would fit MUCH better). If you're just looking for a BBQ/oven mitt that looks nice and has great materials, then this is it. If you have small hands, even medium hands, you might struggle with grabbing things. Overall, it's a great idea, just the execution of the hand sizing leaves a bit to be desired.

Bought this along my BBQ grill equipment. The mitt is very big for my hands, so I do not often get a good grip on my utensils. However, it does protect me from the heat at the BBQ so I can put meats further in the BBQ without getting burned. I also like that I can hang it up when I store it. The product material is not cheaply made; it's soft to the touch and with my hands inside, I feel comfortable.

I got this glove to replace an older glove I've used for years, and while I've not actually fired up the BBQ yet to give it a test run, I can tell from the material and feel of the glove that it should prove up to the task of shielding one's hand from the normal heat issues one can encounter while grilling. The glove feels well made and looks good, and I have no doubt it will work just fine this summer when I put the heat to the meat!

I use a spatula to make smash burgers on the flat top griddle installed on my Weber grill. I could only make two burgers at a time because I had to place them closest to the edge of the grill. It is unbearably hot when I reach my hand past the edge of the grill. Using this grill mitt, I was able to keep my hand over the centre of the grill and I didn't feel a thing. I'd like to see a version with individual finger slots.

This glove is huge. It's a "one size fits most" but not necessarily very well kind of item. It is well constructed and durable, but it's leather so it will require appropriate leather care to keep it looking good. The inside liner is comfortable, while the outside leather provides good grip. It performs well for its intended use as heat protection while grilling and for handling hot pots/trays for short duration in the kitchen. Although a pair would be ideal rather than just a single mitt. I would recommend this glove. So get out there and "Grab life by the grills.".

Although a bit large, it does what it needs to do, which is keeping heat out. The material feels of tougher quality than other mitts I've had. The other mitts being usually of some thick, quilted fabric. This mitt gives more of a construction or welding gloves tough leathery type of feel. I'm not confident in testing it by holding a hot item for long periods of time, but I wouldn't test that on any other grill or oven mitt either, as I'm not willing to risk being burned. However for the times I have used it, it's been working fine. I will say that the size of this mitt is.. well, it's on the LARGE size. I do have small hands though so it exacerbates the feeling of not getting a good grip on things. I think if you can maneuver the larger size these should be fine for use, but I really wish it was just a tad bit smaller. It would cater to much more people with better sizing for sure. Overall though, the material feels tough and they can perform the duties of grill/oven mitt decently.

This is nice BBQ or oven mitt. Smells and feels like real leather. Feels like a great quality mitt and fits good with a larger hand. A fine mitt for a dude on a cooking mission.

I rate this 4.5/5. This is a really nice-quality leather mitt. It is quite large, and although I have small hands, it's comfortable to use. Some people may find it too large, but I have no issue using it comfortably. Although it's a grill mitt, I am using it in the kitchen. I've been looking for an oven mitt that is long. I find most mitts are too short, and I was looking for a mitt that was long so when I take stuff out of the oven, I don't burn my arm. Other "long mitts" I have bought are not protective enough and get hot quickly when taking food out due to a lack of cushion. When holding hot items, I don't feel any heat at all. I was surprised by thisit is truly heat-resistant. Even though I have small hands, I get a good grip when removing items from the oven. Overall, the mitt is exactly as advertised: heat protection and a comfortable lining. The black leather gets dirty but is easy to wipe clean. One thing I would recommend is that they sell this mitt as a pair instead of individually.
