I love this item. Easy to use and easy to store because of the top. Quality wood so is nice looking sitting out on our bar.

This is nice quality- it's heavy. However, it doesn't really close or seal all the way.

This is a nice piece of barware that's an upgrade to having to use a small plate or bowl to rim your glassware for margaritas. It's the perfect size for all our glassware, even highball glasses, and if you have leftover sugar/salt/whatever you can just pop the lid on and save for later. It's sturdy and easy to clean, and it's shallow enough that it won't take up much drawer space in the bar.

Not much to say about this. It's a nice-quality tray to rim your drinks. Works for me!

This could have been a great cocktail Rimmer if they would not have tried to reinvent the wheel, or in this case, the lid. As a past bartender, what they were thinking by that thin ridge in the lid for your lime juice (or other juice or liquid) that is too far for your glass rim OR that you have no well to vary the depth of your liquid to use as your "glue" on your glass rim... I'll never be able to figure out. Might as well just use a dish instead of buying this. Any normal cocktail Rimmer has a well on the lid with a knob that sticks up, which lets you have a pool of liquid, that you can vary the depth of (many of which actually have a sponge in this well to control the amount of fluid laid down on your glass). This lid is just odd and not useful at all for the actual rimming process if you want actual control and creativity in the rimming of your glasses. The stainless steel base is brilliant. The material of the lid is brilliant (very similar to what most cocktail dimmers are made from only those are typically brown), just designed wrong. This one is completely modern and far more stylish in presentation, but if I don't get the same functionality out of it... it defeats the purpose. The need to rework that lid. Love where they are trying to go with this cocktail Rimmer, they just haven't gotten there.

Used this both for sweet and salty rims. It fits smaller and larger rimmed glasses without trouble. I like the physical size and materials used in construction, it looks sleek and feels nice. Major drawback is the coating wasn't complete on the interior and it looked a bit dirty. Suggests that the manufacturing process needs some better quality control.

I was overly impressed with this cocktail rimmer! It was much larger than I anticipated. It is very solid and heavy. The lid doesn't "seal" it just sits on top. I would order a second for sugar rims if it did seal. All in all this is the most sturdy and well made rimmer I have used and I highly recommend this. Would also make a fabulous gift for anyone with a home bar!

If you do cocktails frequently enough, then a good rimmer is a must-have - and this is a good rimmer! It is less messy than a plate and it allows you to cover and save any salt/sugar not completely used up. Great design for a wide variety of glasses I love the center bowl for storing a citrus wedge. Highly recommend.

Perfect cocktail rim set. The lid seconds as a cutting board for your limes. The lid is hard plastic, not bendable. Stores easily on its side or lay it flat with your favorite margarita glass. Great buy!

I love this rimmer. It is weighty and attractive. There is space in the middle to place lime wedges or other citruses one would like to use with their drinks. the lid can also be used to house lemon and lime wedges. I think it works best with larger rimmed glasses. I tried to use it with my Schott Zwiesel white wine glasses and it didnt work. But the rimmer was perfect for standard glasses. I am worried that the metal may oxidize over time due to acid exposure from the lemon/limes. I will update if I notice anything. However, out of the box it is a good buy!

Most cocktail rimmers that I've tried are cheap and dinky so I haven't usually bothered with using them but this one is different from the many that I've tried. It is weighty but also compact and in a very storable shape that works well for a wet bar or even the countertop. I was really surprised by the quality when I pulled this out of the box. The lid feels almost like a stoneware material and can double as a small cutting board for fruit that is used to rim the glass. The little channel in the silver portion of the rimmer can also hold it if you're wanting things to look nice for presentation purposes. It is a great size to accommodate larger glasses (including larger, Mexican blow/recycled glass margarita glasses that I like to use) so I'm thrilled with it. I didn't think that I'd actually love a cocktail rimmer but here we are! LOL

My wife likes a margarita -- especially after she has been out in the Florida sun doing gardening work. I have been using a cheap plastic salt rimmer -- one that came with the cocktail salt in it. The lid would periodically fall off that and I would end up cleaning salt out of the nooks and crannies of the countertop. This heavy plastic lid does not fasten tightly into place, but it is quite heavy and fits snugly, so it doesn't come off easily. The size of this is perfect. With my old makeshift rimmer, I had to tilt and rotate the glass because it was smaller than the rim of the margarita glass. My photos show the size of the rimmer and two of the pictures show how perfectly it is sized for a margarita glass. This will be part of my bar equipment for years to come.

First and foremost, the construction of this little cocktail rimmer is top-notch. The stainless steel material is sturdy and durable, making it perfect for repeated use. The rimmer's size is also just right, allowing me to rim glasses of all shapes and sizes with ease. The small surface for cutting citrus wedges is a fantastic addition. It saves me from having to grab another cutting board, which not only saves me time but also minimizes the number of dishes I have to wash. The surface is just the right size for a few wedges, and the stainless steel ensures that it's easy to clean up afterward. But what really sets this rimmer apart is the salt tray. It's the perfect size for dipping the rim of a glass into, and the high walls ensure that the salt stays contained. Plus, it's easy to clean and can be removed for washing. It's a durable and versatile addition to your home bar setup.

Making and drinking a margarita is, like many purely hedonistic things, enhanced by the rituals we engage in while concocting, preparing, pouring, admiring, toasting, and ultimately drinking from the glass. With margaritas in particular the moistening and salting of the rim of each glass can be a pleasure or a grind. The better the rimmer, the more fun. Rolling a glass around in an ill fitting bowl to get the right distribution of salt on the rim is not easy. Inverting a glass a fitting it into a ready dish of salt designated specifically for this purpose is the solution. And this rimmer fits the bill.

Brushed stainless steel base looks great on my bar and the fitted cover will keep the sugar/salt contents clean. Makes coating the glass rims very easy and it looks very professional. All my glasses fit fine but large margarita glasses are a bit tight, have to keep the annulus filled up. Nice extra feature is the top can be used as a small cutting board for lemons and limes. Center of rimmer area is a bit small for holding many fruit segments but it makes for an attractive look.
