Not the easiest to get aligned onto my phone and PVS14. Better for stationary items like telescopes. I won't be using this because of the time it takes to set up

It takes quite a lot of fiddling to get an initially close setup of the lens to the eyepiece. I was trying to use an iphone pro with 3 lenses in combination with a monocular. It was quite difficult to line everything up and when you zoom on the phone it continually switches lenses. I wanted to be able to photograph wildlife and any creatures would be long gone before you managed to get it working properly if ever. Might be fine if you are taking pictures of static objects and don’t mind lots of time setting everything up.

I found this device very difficult to attach to the phone and telescope, and much more difficult for the phone to stay in position. No matter how tight I turned the screws, the phone would slip out of position. By the time I had everything in position, my phone's screen would turn black (timed out). But I couldn't get the screen to come back on because the clamp was covering the side button on my phone. Frustrating to say the least. lol

It seems like it should work fine, but with newer Androids or iPhones with multiple lenses, it usually doesn’t focus on the correct lens. When it does, the vignetting is really bad. I’ve seen others use this or similar attachments, so it certainly could be user error. After fiddling with it for 30-60 minutes, we gave up.

Works well for mounting your typical sized smart phone to a 1.25” telescope eyepiece for astrophotography.

Really finnicky and hard to properly mount the phone and the scope. But you do pay1/3 of the price of the proper ones for it. I think it will be good enough for what I need it, but boy is the setup frustrating.

Bought this primarily for wildlife and celestial objects, but before I even got this contraption attached to my phone, lined up and focused with the proper phone lens the object had moved, time after time after time, frustrating! And not worth the frustration.

Takes too long to set up. If you leave it set up all the time then you can't easily use your phone or your binoculars. If you wait until you see something cool, then you will spend so much time setting it up that you miss the shot. Also, the eyepiece on my Nikon Monarch binoculars rotates, so that would turn unexpectedly and screw stuff up even if everything else was tight.

No thread engagement for adjustment to eyepiece of target optic.

The smooth faced pads for gripping the telescope lens did not hold well against the smooth surface of my lens...slippage and alignment issues resulted. I measured and cut sandpaper pieces and glued them to the face of the 4 pads. Slippage and alignment issues fixed. Easily and cheaply. Grip was the only issue. I'm happy with it now.

Got this for Father's Day and my husband is over the moon with this (heh heh)! We could clearly see the craters of the moon side by side instead of taking turns risking bumping the telescope. Used a Google Pixel as seen in the photo and was easy to adjust to my Samsung Galaxy.
