Item is fine. It just does not serve a purpose because you should not take the stone out of the oven or place it anywhere extremely hot.

The metal changed color over a few pizzas, but it is minor. It is strong enough to easily support the pizza and stone. Not sure there is much to really say...it's a piece of bent metal. I'm assuming the chromium coating is either cheap or thin or the metal would not have changed color, but that doesn't bother me personally. This isn't a show piece for entertaining.

Rack can be used to place stone on to place directly unto oven. Gets extremely hot! Also can be turned upside down to serve on.
