This food is good and has real meat to add protein to your diet. Most survival food is just alot of starch that gets boring and you tire from quickly.

In Miami we get hurricanes once in a while; when this happens, people rush to the supermarkets and empty the food shelves in just a couple of days; Mountain House meals are real food easy to make, and it tastes very good, compared to other freeze-dried food brands; this food can last in storage for 30 years; also, I used the buckets the food envelopes come in as water reservoirs during the last hurricane.

For multi day expeditions these are great. Light weight - tasty - nutritious. Expect to eat a 2 serving pack each.

I like that it comes in a bucket, and had no problem with any of the meal choices. I would however prefer if they had a bucket with just the beef stroganoff cause that is simply the best one. This is a fairly good second best choice though.

Excellent product with 29/30 year shelf life, but watch the price closely as it changes often. It can change as much as 20 percent over night ! The time to buy is asap because as demand rises so will the price.

Tasty, light weight,easy to prepare. The first two orders came in hardboard boxes. This order came in a tub. Tub will be repurposed.

They are good but I would have liked them in one pail, kind of misleading, 12 meals cut in 2 is their 24 meals, not fair for one man off grid!
