Be even better if could figure out how to code for it, but I'll get the hang of it and build some pretty cool stuff soon enough.

Excellent kit to build circuits with. The tutorial is excellent. Finally everything is coded and operated by Arduino Mega! Includes a wonderful training course on CD with 38 projects!

Everything in this box came in really good shape. My only complaint is that the instructions are extremely dated. It took me over 2 hours to get it to read the port, I had to download an additional driver off of a link from a YouTube video. The instructions say to input the board as Adruino Genuino, this is not an option anymore as Adruino has done away with that board. I downloaded the Adruino 2.3.4 and the only way the code would run was by selecting Adruino Mega (not adruino uno) as my board. This honestly took me a few hours to figure out as I am a beginner but it did end up working with some effort. There is little help on the website, if you have issues I suggest going on a forum. Regardless, I’m excited to finally having fun with it! They really need to update their instructions though because WOW!

My kid is getting his master's degree and needed this for his class. He is quite impressed with the kit and is having fun tinkering with it. Since this is his profession, he feels like he will get good use of it, even after his class is done.

One of the best things about this kit is the tutorial. The step-by-step guides are clear and easy to follow, which is really helpful for beginners. The sample codes work well, and you can tweak them to understand how each component works. The quality of the components is good for the price. Some jumper wires were a bit flimsy, but they still did great job. The Mega 2560 board itself works just like the official Arduino board, and I had no issues connecting it to my laptop. Overall, this is a great kit for anyone who wants to learn electronics and programming with Arduino. It has everything needed to start experimenting and building projects. I would definitely recommend it to beginners and hobbyists.

Awesome starter kit for learning Arduino. Everything you need to build simple projects, learning about microcontrollers, programming, and how to interface with the various sensors. This board is bigger than the other Arduino's (Uno, Nano) and is better if you have many inputs or outputs that you want to connect to it at one time. If you don't have a plan for this big of a board then I'd recommend the Nano form factor, as it can plug directly into your breadboard and is a little easier to manage. There is a great tutorial series by "Top Tech Boy" Paul McWhorter on his website, https://toptechboy.com/, and on YouTube. I'm sure there are lots of other tutorials as well. I also recommend getting a set of breadboard jumper wires for more tidy and sturdy breadboarding. Have fun!

What a complete kit. Having a ball ! Retired old guy here and this is just the thing to keep me busy.

I am not real good with computers and installing the program on a computer with out a disc drive was a challenge and I could not install on my Mac with a disc drive just got error code 403.when I did install there was no instructions on how to use it.Not really a kit for beginners.

The ELEGOO Mega R3 Project Kit is an excellent starter set for Arduino enthusiasts, packed with components and a clear tutorial to get you started. I’m still working on projects with it, and it’s been incredibly versatile and fun to use. Highly recommend for beginners and hobbyists!

The downloaded IDE (Integrated Developer Environment) drivers for this kit do not work with current Macintosh software. I suspect the IDE drivers were developed some years ago, and never updated. Thankfully, a PDF version of the user's guide is included. Maybe the Windows IDE files are a differenct story...

This kit has everything I need and more to complete my second robot. I already had a platform and motors. It even came with an AtMega clone and breadboard shield. Stuff I didn’t use in the kit I will use on other projects. Doumentation, tutorial, example code and libraries are quite useful.

A simple, but complete kit for seniors to use to gain a hands on approach to learning the parts of a computer.

We bought this as a gift for our 16 year old nephew as he is getting into engineering and robotics. He was very excited to get this and it looking forward to being able to step up his school projects.
