I don't use this for climbing, but I do use it in an application where it needs to be flexible enough to manipulate into a knot and does not stretch. It performs better than I had anticipated and with proper inspection and care will certainly be used for a long time.

Calling this a climbing rope should be a crime. It isn’t safe to rappel with, let alone climb with. Marketing it as such should be a criminal offense since it will inevitably get someone killed.

The inner fibers are fraying through the external winding creating a hazard for climbing.

I'm pretty rough on them. I uses it daily for a few months. So maybe that's why it ripped on me. It didn't snap, the outer covering ripped apart though on jagged rocks.

The way this rope is advertised is really dangerous with two images of people sport climbing with this rope and the insinuation you can do that on it. Do not. This is a STATIC rope. If you take a fall on this rope, you're going to get seriously injured or die. If you do not know the difference between static and dynamic ropes or are looking for an inexpensive rope for sport climbing, please do more research. This is not the rope for you and, in fact, no static rope is. Perhaps it is a good static line for arborists or for rappelling, hauling, etc. But do NOT use it to climb unless you know what you are doing and know you need a static line.

Good rope for general needs and everyday use. I am dismayed, though, at the many reviews indicating climbing/rappelling/rescue applications for this rope. it was not manufactured nor certified for any such use. If you put yourself in a situation where life or safety depends on this product, you have quite likely made a fatal decision. You might claim it "looks" like it can do the job, but if it is not certified, well, I'll wish you best of luck.

Bought this to repel down a mineshaft... I recommend the rope. Not necessarily to use in a mineshaft though.

I just got mine so i haven't used it yet. I just did a basic rope inspection and im impressed. I have some high end expensive rope and this easily seems to be just as tough and durable. Far better than expected and has some serious heft to it. Probably maxing out my weight capacity that i like but i definitely feel like i can bet my life on it.

I am not a climber but bought this rope to use to launch a boat by myself. It works great. I hook one end to my trailer and one to the boat and works great. The rope resist tangles and is more than solid enough where I have no fears of breaking. I read complaints about the carabiners but for my purpose they are more than enough.

I bought this as part of our emergency kit for high-altitude hiking/climbing in ice and snow on our last trip. We've learned the hard way having a good quality, quickly and easily deployable linecarabiners is a real necessity. Fortunately we didn't need it in-action this last trip, it but it's a robust product for sure. Equal to ones you might find in a typical mountain shop. This is a bit bigger and heavier than one might expect. If you are building your pack to minimize weight and space, keep that in mind. I'd still rather have it and not need it....
