Lundberg Family Farms proudly presents organically grown California White Basmati Rice. Our organic Basmati rice originates from India's Basmati seed. Prized for its aromatic qualities, this unique rice fills your home with the fragrance of popping corn while it cooks. This delightful popcorn fragrance and flavor is natural. Nothing was added and no special steps are needed to achieve this special aroma and flavor. It looks and cooks just like other long grain rices. Lundberg California Brown Basmati is one of the most flavorful rices you'll ever taste.

Measurement Chart
1 serving = 3/4 cup cooked rice

Dry Rice: 1/2 Cup
Water/Broth: 3/4 cup
Butter/Oil: 1 - 1.5 tsp.
4-6 Servings
Dry Rice: 1 cup
Water/Broth: 1 1/2 cup
Butter/Oil: 1 Tbsp.
8-10 Servings
Dry Rice: 2 cups
Water/Broth: 3 cups
Butter/Oil: 2 Tbsp.
Combine 1 cup rice, 1.5 cup water, and 1 tbsp butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer for 20 min. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. *If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer. Tip: To prepare in rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio.

domestic. organic. white. basmati. in the perfect size for a family for about a month (or two months or three months sometimes!) A simple ask that is hard to find in stores. And annoying to lug home but a relief to mail order!

I love buying the Azure Standard Organic White Basmati Rice because it is a healthy choice. It is a favorite in my family. I am starting to have to buy the 25 lb bags sooner and sooner. I know I am buying the best quality rice for the money.

I get overwhelmed at the varieties of rice. I don't know what the differences are! But this one was economical for us to try buying it bulk. Quality has been fine. We're able to use it straight from the bag because my crew can use it within the month. Maybe later I'll try buying more and transferring a portion to a storage bin.
