Worked out great, I absolutely love it!! Well, this is rather unfortunately the inside of the deep skillet, the nonstick part came completely off and the one big round circle about the size of a silver dollar! All the money I spent on this you would’ve thought it would’ve lasted longer than a week! I’m adding an additional photo

This is my first iron skillet andI'm in love! First thing cooked was bacon then eggs in the bacon grease omg yum! Nothing stuck to the pan at all! The flavor of the food was amazing! I will be adding more plans to my collection!

I love how deep this skillet is. The functionality and depth of this skillet far exceeded my original expectations. It's extremely versatile, I've cooked everything from soup to steak in it since I've had it. It's very easy to clean and keep seasoned. The weight of it takes a little getting used to, but cast iron has always had weight. There is very little that I've found that sticks to it, especially on low heat. The lid has kept my food warm even after I turned the heat off. I accidentally dropped the lid on the floor while removing it last night and there was not a single chip or indentation on the edge when I picked it up.

It's bigger than I thought it would be, but it is Awesome to cook fried chicken in! The lid fits well also! I love it!

Used it for camping is was great. I will probably buy another one. Great price, I made corn bread in it over a open fire and it tasted so good.

This skillet is perfectly sized and deep enough to reduce any splatter onto the stove or the surrounding area. It is seasoned, but would benefit from seasoning it one or more additional times. A quality deep skillet!

I’m thankful. I was able to get this half off normal price. Previously I had purchased a less expensive brand for about $15 less than I paid here, only without a lid and was not worth the money I paid. I think the other pan had a painted on surface because I kept getting black flecks in my food and the item kept getting rust, even though it was supposed to have been preseasoned. This cast iron pan is HEAVY. Much heavier than my previous one. You can tell this one is the real thing.Very nice set!

Residing in a state where a man has no right to defend himself or his family with a firearm while out in the world away from home. A 40lbs pan can be a handy substitute. It can be concealed but this says too much about you so open carry your 14” cast iron Dutch oven and walk proud with your family knowing after many more pushups you’ll be able to do something resembling their protection. It tells the would be aggressor that you mean business or possibly that you mean to cook something but either intention should suffice in a pinchIf said aggressor is hungry.

I do allot of outdoor cooking and when cooking in doors have Gas range. Cast Iron is just the way to go for my preference in low heat long cooks. This smaller size I use mainly for corned beef and chuck roast's with cut potatoes and carrots. The lid on this fits one of my skillets of the same size. If you clean this stuff correctly and properly season it before each use, it will outlive you and if your kids value it will outlive them as well. Biggest mistake most new users to Cast Iron is not cleaning it correctly or using proper seasoning techniques to keep items from sticking and setting temp to high when cooking in my humble opinion.
