This should cost half the price, but fit kidde 2.5lb extinguishers perfectly. The kidde's have a thicker neck than most extinguishers of the same capacity so nothing else worked. These metal mounts are sturdy and strong, and should have come with the kidde's as the stock plastic ones are a joke and broke even before I could mount them to the wall. Recomended but yes overpriced.

I use this in an off-road vehicle and it does the job. The plastic mount that came with the extinguisher was in no way able to do the job.

This bracket is much, much better than the one that came in my new RV. The first time I bumped into the original bracket, it broke. PP4x4

I have three of these, and two have been in regular use outdoors for 4 years - they show no signs of wear. The price might sting a bit, but it is really important to have your heavy life-saving equipment (i.e. fire extinguisher) reliably secured and ready.
