This is a pretty good inexpensive fiber stripper. Unfortunately, the first one I got had a badly sized middle hole, which was too small and would microscopically notch the fiber right thru the buffer coating. Then the fiber would break either when I stripped the buffer coating or tried to insert the fiber in connectors firmly. The other 2 holes were perfect. Returned it and the replacement unit was much better. The 250um hole was much better sized and did not cause the same problems. The 125um hole for stripping the buffer coating is perfect, no problems with the new unit.
