I've always had problems with earwax protectors on my hearing aids. They itch and won't stay in my ears. I've tried the small ones with the same problems. Now I have thrown out the earwax protectors and just use this device to clean the part that goes in the ears. No more itching and they stay in place. Most of the time I don't even realize I have them on.

My husband has owned a Jodi vac for years. He bought his original one from his hearing air provider and used it regularly. It was well used and well traveled. Finally it just stopped working so we just bought this new one. He highly recommends it to anyone who wears hearing aids.

It's unbelievable how much wax can get in the bores of your iem's. This is a must have if you ever purchase a used set from head-fi or other audio sites, or just for routine maintenance on any iem that doesn't have mesh keeping the gunk out. I keep my ears clean, so I was really surprised by what this vacuum sucked out of my electronics. Pictures not enclosed to spare you the gory details.

Nice strong vacuum; could use improved/detailed instructions on how to clean hearing aids as others have talked about using it to clean inside their hear aids; YouTube videos with this level of detail would be good I specifically got this because the 8 beeps on one of my hearing aids indicated either a moisture issue or dirt where the microphones are. I also purchased a dehumidifier/sanitizer for the hearing aids at the same time, however, I still get the 8 beeps. The supplied needle on the end of the vacuum hose is too large to fit into the opening where my microphones are located...probably by design to avoid damage to the microphones. It would be nice if there was a soft rubber part to place on the end of the needle that would seal over the microphone openings as I don't think just putting the needle right at the end provides enough suction to clean these out.

This is a fantastic buy! Easy to use and clears buildup on the speakers. I highly recommend this product for use daily after aids have been in the dehumidifier.

Easy and simple to use. I have stupid ear problems in one ear and I felt that the vacuum helped me make sure it was my ear and not my hearing aid that was plugged. Use at the very least once a week. I feel it is worth the money!

Lol this is kinda funny but going to say it anyways I'm almost 60 I am picky about who I take my hearing aids too! who cleans my ears so I thought I would give it a try I started sucking out both my ears with the vacum Thing believe me or not (IT WORKS) LOL but my question is where does all the wax go? Doesn't thw vacum box ever get full????

Have ussed this for several years.. Did not realize I had not reviewed it. It is well engineered, well made and works fine. I bought 5 replacement heads and they last a long time. I have not replaced a wax guard. If everything worked this well we would be in paradise. Highly recommend. Love it.
