This honey dripper does not fit a 16oz Mason jar even with the lid securely snapped in. I had to disassemble the shaft from the lid and cut about 5mm off to get the lid to seat the jar probably. Once this was done my honeybee mason jar was ready to hold the delicious nectar.

The stem that fits down in the jar is too long for the pint size jar, so you can’t screw down the lid all the way - hence, the honey is not completely sealed in the jar. I can’t believe the seller didn’t test this first. I had my husband saw off the last “circle” on the stem, sanded it and now it fits perfectly.The first pic is the stem with the last “circle cut-off and sanded. Second pic is the stem seeded in the metal band and screwed down all the way, you can see how much space is now at the bottom.
