The shears cut well and are durable. They are not great for cutting gel impregnated carbon fiber. They cut both thin metal and woven cloth fiber with ease but are not exceptional.

I work a lot with epoxy and I can be tough on scissors. As a result, I've tried numerous scissors rated to cut kevlar cloth. The Ascend scissors are by far the best and a good value too boot. I am always surprised these smaller scissors out perform larger and supposedly more ergonomic brands. The Ascend blades also hold sharpness much longer than any others I've tried. I've also found these scissors useful for cutting synthetic ropes, especially the higher end lines.

They are great. I use them while splicing up and for fabrication of some of my own rigging and apparatus for various tasks.I kind of wish they were a little larger in the 'holes' for your fingers or hands - my finger and hands are big.Durability? I dunno yet, have not had them that long, but if needed I have plenty of other tools to allow me to sharpen them when it is needed.

Initially thought I'd never be the person that spends $30 on scissors. After waffle stomping through Dyneema with regular scissors I purchased these and they are the Dyson of scissors. My partner tried them and now keep stealing them from me. They are sharp, and strangely completely satisfying and pure pleasure to snip with. Yes they're expensive I am very cheap and I think these are, amazing value-they're worth it

I like that they cut smoothly and continuosly, they are a bit covered in resin now, my fault, but they still work.

I picked this up for rope splicing. It handled the nylon line well.

I use this to cut Kevlar cloth and Kevlar cord. It is quality made and robust in its steel construction. One side is a smooth blade. The other side has very fine serrations. Boths sides came sharp as a razor. The scissors cut easily through relatively thick Kevlar cloth and also Kevlar cord that I have.

I've tried to cut this expensive cloth with sheet metal sheers, heavy duty scissors, and a razor. I was about to give up on this $100 fabric roll until these came along. Very sturdy and entire length of the blade is seraded super sharp.

These things cut great. I dropped my first pair overboard, but couldn't live with regular scissors anymore, so I immediately bought another pair.

I use these to cut dynema and similar braided line from 100lb fishing line to 3mm diameter. They grip the slippery material well and make a clean cut.
