I have some old phones, one of which needed a new handset cord, but I couldn't find one in just the right color. So I ordered some of these 4P4C ("RJ9") connectors and was able to replace the broken connector myself. Worked perfectly.

The connector is plastic, and it is well made, there is no extra material on the edges.

I had an issue with my RJ11 wires plug because the end wouldnt snap into place and would side out on my RV, I found these replacement plugs and snipped the end off the broken one, lined the colors up and used a special crimper that I borrowed from a friend and in 2 minutes I had a new plug end! Great Plug

Had a failed RJ12 connector on a Microchip J-Tag de-bugger cable. It took about one minute to remove the failed connector, attach this one, and - voila!

Bought these to replace one that had a broken tab for one of my electronics that use it for power, few months down the line and still running strong. No sign of the tab becoming loose, gets a good snap everytime I plug it in.

Worked great. I needed these to replace a connection on a hot tub cord running to the circuit board. I never knew this size existed before. It's a little bit smaller than your standard phone line connection.

i crimped a repair to a cable and made a dozen or so patch cables out of the cheapest 6p phone cable pair i found on this site. didnt have any failed crimps or broken connectors in the process and everything works fine!

I recently purchased a scale with a detached display, but the included coil cable was too short for my use, and I wasn't a fan of the coil style. After doing some research I figured out the connection was RJ22 or RJ9 (still not sure what the difference is). Using these connectors and 50ft of phone cable I purchased separately, I was able to make a custom-length cable that works perfectly. These seem like good quality connectors and very reasonable priced for way more connectors than I'll ever need. Highly recommended.
