Last one lasted over 10 years before humidy sensor started reading low. Yes, you read right, 10 years!! The temp sensor was still good, but given this was all that time outside in nature, wet, wind freezing cold, pollen and dust, it's incredible value and a simple replacement. I've read home owners baing charged hundred$ to have a contractor replace them but that's certainly not needed. The instructions are clearly written and it's simple to do. It is a This isn't a stand alone or Wi-Fi sensor, it's a Redlink sensor, so that's the thing you should already have to use this.

I had a thermostat which would occasionally lose the connection to the outside sensor. After lots of troubleshooting, I replaced it and all is well.

Old one stopped working and this was an exact replacement. Instructions to connect were incomplete. In addition to the instructions, I had to go into the Installer Options and add the device to my individual thermostats.

The casing on my original outdoor sensor had cracked letting water in, and of course, it failed. This replacement works perfectly and was easy to connect to the red Link network used by Honeywell.

It replaces a wired sensor subject to wiring dropoff which tended to make the readings inaccurate.

I was skeptical when I received this and the factory seal was broken, but I gave it a shot and it works just fine.

This is a waste of money and time troubleshooting if you have an existing T9 Tstat.

Works just like it's supposed to and was easy to pair with my thermostat. I installed it outside the door to my deck where the least amount of sunlight shines during the day as instructed.

I ordered this to replace an identical one that no longer worked (after 11 years) due to corrosion. The new one wouldn't link to my system. I called the support number and spoke with a gentlemen who walked me step by step to link it with my particular system. I have a dual system, one that uses the heat pump until it drops lower than 38, and then propane kicks in automatically. For me the outdoor sensor is a necessity this time of year. The temp is supposed to go down to 21 tonight so it is fixed just in time!
