The Deluxe Bariatric Drop-arm Commode features a drop-arm mechanism for easier exit and entry, designed to accommodate side transfers in restricted or confined areas and from a wheelchair or bed. The textured blow molded armrests provide a safe and secure grip to carefully assist with sitting and standing. It can be used as a bedside commode, toilet safety equipment or elevated toilet seat. Ideal for those recovering from surgery, or those too weak or unable to walk to the bathroom independently.
The steel construction of the bariatric commode enhances the durability of the chair and ensures ease of maintenance. It features a removable bucket with a volume capacity of twelve quarts that simply slides from under the seat cut out for use. The versatile design means the heavy-duty commode can also fit over an existing toilet or be used as a toilet safety frame. The drop-arm commode features non-slip rubber tips on all four leg extensions, designed to help prevent accidental slips or falls.
