The item was great so far. I love the motion detector when walking the dog. If a car is coming, i can just wave my hand in front of the head light and it turns on. Another quick wave and it turns off again.

These are decent...We camp a lot, and needed replacements for our old ones. There are two buttons on the top...and like 100 different features. I really hate cycling through a loop on each button just to turn it on or off. bright, dim, red, blue, strobe! Why someone would want a strobe on their headlight is baffling. For the Chinese, if ONE gadget is good...100gadgets are better...right? They haven't made a flashlight with just ONE on and off switch in 30 years...guess I'm just old school wanting only one button on my flashlight.

Battery does not last long

I checked out this headlamp the other night, it is very bright, in fact, I preferred the dimmer settings. The motion sensor works okay, but the light would switch on and off if I walked near doorways trees etc etc, I would pass on that one LOL

Great light, nice and bright! I didn't read the description well enough, and originally thought mine was defective. I didn't pay attention to the fact that it had a motion sensor on one setting, and it kept giving out on me. Once I got it figured out though, they were great. I still can't figure out what possible purpose a motion senor would have on a headlamp though. Presumably you would only be using it if you need constant light while working on something or moving around in the dark. But whatever, you don't have to use that function. it has a separate button.

great, though the strobe gets annoying

One of them works great. The second one seems to have an issue holding a charge and gets dim very quickly. The design is good, charging them is simple, very good product overall. Just wish they both worked properly.

Works great, BUT "LED with rechargeable batteries" has the annoying "feature" that they suddenly (and at the worst time) turn totally off to protect the Li-Ion batteries. It would be nice when they would have a "turning dimmer" function to indicate that they need recharging. For mission-critical stuff I will rely on LED with alkali batteries.

Very bright light, great battery life, quick charging. Using these headlights makes you more efficient and helps your work flow allowing for faster analysis. Wherever you look, you have light. The lights free your hands to work, you don't have to hold a flashlight while trying to turn a bolt in a dark area. The lights also have a solid tilt axis to achieve the perfect angle as you work. If you are a mechanic, buy these, worth the purchase.
