The game I received is an imitation version of the authentic Risk. The pieces and board are cheaper and less sturdy. Please order from elsewhere if you want a real version of Risk.

Played this game my Freshman year in college. Challenging and exciting with multiple players. An interesting game where players grapple for territories, form alliances and use strategic planning to take over the world. So interesting and fun, the hours of play seemingly melt away without notice. Never finished in less than 3 hours.

Keep it simple and bring back the towers. Veteran players who loved the game bought the new version only to spend all their time counting pieces, which was which, recounting. Took the fun right out of game.

It's classic Risk, what's not to love? I've played this game ever since I was a kid (I'm 36 now) and it's always great. Lots of strategy and lots of planning. Not a quick game by any means but always lots of fun.

this game has always been in my extended family when I was younger. they would always sit around the table during Christmas break and all play it. got it for my son and he enjoys playing it with family

My son specifically asked for this boardgame and I'm glad we got it for him!! There are quite a few rules to follow for this game however, once you're familiar with them this game is a lot of fun. Up to 5 pple can play at a time. The game is very addicting but in a good way. Our family started a 4 player game which lasted well over 4 hrs. Highly recommend this boardgame

Santa gift for my 11 year old son who is obsessed with any military stuff in general. Instruction book was a little confusing since there is 8 ways to play this one game (actually this is nice so the game can grow with you) so we ended up finding a video on how to play which was super helpful. Played it for 3 nights in a row after unboxing it on Christmas.
