Great quick reference

During tournament level play I hang this on my bag. Nice to have everything at the tips of your fingers when something comes up. Also if casual group gets into a rule type of argument nice to have these right on hand as well.

I'm a novice golf-mom and a junior caddie, meaning I get to accompany my junior golfers as they play golf (they're good enough to play and understand the rules but they're too young to go out alone). I don't play golf myself, so all the rules are new to me. I have carried this rule tag set, attached to my own lanyard, during practice rounds and tournaments with my kids. The pictures on the front make it clear which tag I need to look at to find which rule. The text on the back is a little small to read without my reading glasses, but my kids have been able to reference the cards to remind them about the different rules for penalties, unplayable balls, etc. The cards seem to be good quality that won't mind being out in the elements. They are on a nice chain/clip that makes it easy to attach them to a bag. Casual older players might find the cards not worth it, if you don't play with strict rules. But these are nice for newbies, and I can see my daughters referring to these for the next several years as they learn the sport.

I’m not super serious about golf. I don’t generally keep a super accurate score because I can’t count that high while trying to knock a tiny ball into a tiny hole. When playing with others, though, I’ve noticed that there are people at my skill level who are adamant about the rules. (Why??? Seriously, 7 strokes on a par 3 and you’re gonna get picky on where I drop my ball??) This is a great reference so I don’t feel like (more of) an idiot. The ring is solid. The cards are credit card sized, plastic, with a high quality playing card texture. They feel great in the hand. The info is simple and shows strict rules and normal local rules. Language is clear and helpful without being condescending.

Been grouped up with Randoms for leagues that aren't up to speed on rule changes. These cards look nice and appear to be durable, and easily attach to bag. Next time some person tries to argue about a simple rule, it'll be a here you go, take your complaint to the clubhouse. It has enough of the basics to refresh your memory or prove you're not cheating. Example being last years red stakes lateral drop option which was a 2 stroke penalty now only being a 1 stroke penalty.

I got this for my son to use when playing in junior golf tournaments. The bag tags come sorted together with a metal ring that can be twisted apart and secured to your golf bag. I feel confident that it wont rip or fall off. The rule tags themselves are labeled nicely and clear to read, so that you can quickly find the rule that you're looking for. These little tags are a simple way to carry around reminders of the rules. They are short and explain what you need to know. I took away 1 star because they don't claim to be the USGA rules (or any other rules) so it is possible they are wrong - they do seem correct as of today, but yes, rules changes. To be a 5 star product they should have a specific edition of the rules that they cover and have been verified to follow.

These tags have all of the most common golf rules, updated for 2024. If you're like me and don't play enough to remember all the rules, then these are really handy. I just keep them in my golf bag and I can refer to them whenever I need a refresher. They are made of sturdy plastic, they will definitely take a beating. They include a wire to attach to your bag so they aren’t going anywhere. The back of each card has the rule for the photo on the front. There is an additional card which contains “Other Rules”. Great for the new or casual golf rule-follower.

I think I know golf rules only to panic when, in a tournament especially, my ball goes OB or into a hazard. I used to carry a rules book but those aren’t published anymore. Cell phones are not as reliable as you’d like in pressure situations. Having these cards hanging off my bag = problem solved! They are well worth the (very reasonable) price and look indestructible.
