Works good, great price. The only downside I noticed: it has tendency to increasing rotation speed itself. You will have to manually switch it to lower when that happens.

I couldn't decide on this tool, or the much more expensive Dremel tool. I needed to grind down some burrs on ceramic items. This tool did that, barely. When you push down, the tool stops. It shouldn't do that. It's got cheap plastic housing, and the instructions weren't real good on setting it up. The polishing paste had hardened in the little container. The motor whines with use. The battery worked out of the box, but that's about the only good thing.This is a good toy or a really cheap tool. It would be ok for your girl or boy scout and their projects, but as a homeowner I wish I'd sprung for the Dremel. It ground down the burrs I needed to get rid of, but I have little hope for its longevity.

At first glance this seems to be an excellent tool, nicely finished and solidly made. We have purchased these tools in the past and have found them very rugged. These were older models so we're hoping for better reliability. The tool has one very large advantage in being the only pistol grip grinder we could find in its size and price range now that Dremel is not available. Additionally the removable battery with a separate charger is a majorpositive feature.The tool has several weaknesses however. 1) The grip is not as comfortable as the Dremel was, and as a result the tool in not as maneuverable. 2) At higher speeds it is very loud and vibrates substantially. 3) The switch/speed control is inconvenient and requires two hand to operate.All in all this is a very nice tool for the money. If it proves to be more reliable than previous models it would probably merit five stars in spite of its faults.

It has comfortable grip, not strong enough for heavy duty, but enough power for small project like decoring woods. Battery life not knowing yet.

The product feels flimsy to hold. The battery charger fell apart after 1 week. On edge about what else will break. I don't recommend, look for a better made item.
