We have used this once, and it works well, but was not the most comfortable on my father's neck. It looks difference than what is shown. The one we received had extra plastic edges that poked into his neck, but it is not really bad, but a little uncomfortable. Other than that, it was nice to have sick to wash to wash his hair, while he was in bed.

This product is a great low cost option for washing hair on bed ridden individual. I have personally used this product for years when caring for my two disabled daughter's. As with any product with frequnt use, you will have to replace it after a couple of years of repeated use as the seams do wear out. I also dry mine out after each use to prevent molding. I have purchased more expensive models, but have always come back to this one. This model is more comfortable under the users neck verses more expensive hard plastic. It is cheap and easy to replace. It is portable and can travel easily when your loved one is in the hospital or you need to travel. The portable shower pairs well with this item. Place a bed pad or two under the unit to prevent the bed from getting wet.

This works very well for hair washing a bed ridden patient. The drain line is long enough, but not too long to use with a hospital bed. The top and bottom section blow up separately so you can adjust comfort. Fully inflated top was not comfortable for my patient, so I let some of the air out. I am very happy with this product.

Works great. A great solution for someone confined to a bed. Much easier to wash Mom's hair with this basin. It drains well, the tubing is actual a lot longer than what shows in the photo. We place a waterproof pad under the basin and Mom, we pour enough water to wet her hair, shampoo and rinse (we don't fill the basin, but pour water as needed and let it drain before more rinsing). We place in tubing in a large bucket, works just great! Highly recommend.

Does the job. The drain is in an awkward place though. I only inflated the lower portion, which made it deep enough to use in bed. With the top layer inflated it was more uncomfortable for the patient and harder to remove when finished.

This arrived with bloody finger prints on the product. That is unsanitary and dangerous. Needless to say it is in the garbage and I received a refund.

While recovering on the couch from a procedure on my ankle, my sister washed my hair several times using this basin. Grateful to have had it for those washes, but it was really difficult for her to drain the collected water. It needs to be re-engineered so that the drain is on the side.

The basin didnt work as well as I expected. For starters the area where the neck rests was not as wide as it appeared on the illustration. Also the basin did not drain very easily. I am willing to give it another try though. Hopefully it will work out better.

Very great purchase! Easy to work with! Only criticism is I wish the hole to drain was bigger as you have to push the water towards the hole so it can empty through the hose. But other than that, it has really been a game changer in helping wash my loved ones hair who is bed bound!

This is kinda hard to use on a bed bound person. Water can leak out from the neck area and the ends of the hair sit in the water after being rinsed.

not what I expected, has a sharp ridge where my wife lays her head have to wrap a towel around her neck to prevent scratches, not even what the picture on the enclosed brochure shows.
