Great idea, works ok, but the screen is so small and the scope patterns are hard to see. would work better if the screen were large enough to see the details of the ignition patterns better.

I finally got to use it. Its a GREAT tool. It has graphing and a great hold feature which allows you to save info from each cylinder so you can compare it all on screen. It is really user friendly. It does both distributor ignitions and coil on plug. The probe could be a little longer.... but the tool is really great. I dont know how long its been on the market but i am sorry i didnt get one years ago.

I got this to trace a check engine light on my Jeep. I had been swapping parts but could not identify the faulty unit(s). In about 3 minutes it identified two weak coil packs, others checked good. Fun and easy to use. I always prefer to do my own work rather than pay the shop rates.This tool will help me a lot on all of the vehicles that I maintain.
