Having the swivel extension attached makes sure you don't have to worry about the socket falling off, and you can work in tight spaces. The magnet holds great and hasn't dropped a plug yet.

This is honestly a where have you been all my life tool. No more stupid foam inserts. No more worrying about dropping the plug into the hole. I did the 16 spark plugs in my Hemi and not one of them made me question my existence. The ball and socket swivel is smooth and awesomeadd a wobble joint at the other end if you need to, and you can go around corners.

There is a LOT of slop on these. If you have issues with your plug needing more than about 20ftlbs of force to get out... you should get them started with a traditional deep socket as these do not fit very tight and will round off easily. In my case, the plugs were not siezed and came out easily. Also, there was some left over machining trash caught on the magnet... it was very sharp!I would suggest having a 4 extenison to go with these to give maximum flexibility (and maybe a 2nd universal for the super lazy too) However, tools like this are necessary for modern engines that have the plugs through the valve covers. I do feel bad about the poor fit and the trash, but I'm keeping these for next time I need to swap plugs...I do not think these would hold up long in daily use. This is a consumer or low-grade prosumer product. At over $10 per tool, does not seem a good value, but not a scam either. (would rather have tighter clearance on the tool's flats than lower price)

Solidly made , nice chrome finish, good storage plastic molded box. Magnets very strong, spark plug wont shake loose. Kit is three different lengths, 4, 6, 11, all 5/8 spark plug.
