The threaded rail is just cheap bits of metal taped onto the inside of unthreaded rails. The tape is sticky and impossible to remove and will get in the threads of the screws. It also does not stick when you try to screw something in. You need to hold the rail in while you are screwing something in. This makes it almost impossible to install a 3U piece of gear onto each side.

Very disappointed. Many of the holes on the rails do not line up with the holes in the shelves that I was trying to mount. Fortunately I found positions that worked but am disappointed with the poor quality of the product. This is NOT a $259.00 rack, more like a $59.00 rack.

great case for ham radio portable case. sturdy, and well built. depth is perfect for typical mobile ham radio gear with out causing case to become too big compared to regular depth cases.

Fits my power conditioner, interface, and headphone amp perfectly. My laptop fits comfortably on top and I am ready to dive into more mobile recording. The main downside to mobile recording before was figuring out how to travel without destroying/damaging my gear. Now that problem seems to be fixed!

Thought I'd give this gator case a try given all the positive reviews but I'm not impressed. Case seems flimsy and I've to check the latches twice to make sure it's secure. It's simply not worth the price you pay for it, there are better options out there.

Lightweight, compact and does the job. I use this for my digital mixer and power conditioner. It keeps everything protected when moving and doesn't take up unnecessary space when being used.

This is well designed portable rack. I bought to mount my Behringer XR 18 (3U) along with 4 channel wireless transmitter (1U), 2 channel microphone receiver and furman power conditioner . Also bought extra rack screws, but it was unnecessary, because the racks comes with enough screws. The box had plenty of room for me to mount a wireless router. Very happy with this purchase.

Good quality rack case, but I had to use vice clamps to be able to mount my bass amp in it. Otherwise, the holes were slightly too far apart.

Worked out perfectly for my radio gear portable box. The shallow unit is much easier to handle better fit for my gear. I had it all mounted in a 6U Pro series Gator case which is a very nice case but too long for my needs. I only utilize the front racks.
