I bought two to use as "testers" in a pair of folded Voigt boxes I recently built. I'm amazed at how good these 3" speakers sound in this application. I'll be getting some more expensive drivers to replace them at some time (that's always been the plan), but I am very satisfied for now with how well these inexpensive little guys sound. When I do replace them with higher end drivers, I'll likely pick up six more and build an array system speaker set. At $10 a pop, they are an experimenter's dream.

I had a woofer go bad in a small speaker, these fit perfectly. Larger magnetic and appear to be better quality. This one is a little bass-ier, probably because there is no whizzer cone. Sound quality is very good though and do is the volume ( good efficiency for a small speaker). Bought last summer and still working great. I am very happy, will probably buy another and just swap out the one in the other speaker too.
