Was a little leery at first about the size of product, but for the price, I decided to give it a try. We pull cable through HDPE - I sure am glad I “took a chance!” Very durable, light weight and easy to use!

I used this 1 time. Put it away I came back to it 3 months later the rod is now bent/broken in 5 different places.

Used it to re-string a half full 2in conduit, 350ft with a junction at about 150ft. Worked perfectly and cut the job time down to about an hour, which basically paid for the tool on the first job.

Very difficulty to retract there is no crank and i hurt my hand. ( unsafe). There's no way to measure the distance done

It works and is fairly cheap compared to other brand names. It is very fragile to stay the least you just have to be gentile with it. Otherwise it works just fine we own 3 of them.

Terrible. Came broken in 3 spots in the first 100ft. The tip was also broken as if when packed they shoved the tip into the cage too hard and snapped it.. with no replacement tips. This thing is useless...

GMP's 88268 detectable duct rod is used to find, follow and accurately map the duct route without digging or trenching. The traceable duct rod is used in conjunction with both a signal transmitter and a receiver. The easily identifiable signal is transmitted along the entire length of the duct rod.

The toneable duct rod has an 18 AWG copper wire, almost twice the size of the competition, in the center of the fiberglass core. Was a little leery at first about the size of product, but for the price, I decided to give it a try. We pull cable through HDPE - I sure am glad I “took a chance!” Very durable, light weight and easy to use!
