I have had these boots for 12 years. I is the when I portray Santa Claus. They are holding up great and the zippers are still functioning well despite my chubby calves. Only negative is the traction is not so good on roof tops.

I wore these boots to Anime Expo (I added the boot chains, they don't come with them) and was walking at least 10k steps a day for 2 days in them and they're in perfect shape. I added some insoles and I suggest that you do as well. They're comfy and fit a wide calf just fine. I don't know how long they'll hold up but at least for the price they're great for a costume

I play in a 70 Roleplay 30 combat larp and these boots didn't last 1 event. The entire bottom of the boot was coming off of both feet. They looked pretty good for the price, but keep to casual RP events with these, avoid any quick movements.

I bought these for a costume and they worked very well- I added some inserts to provide support. They did rub the top of my toes by the end of the day but they were new and had to be broken in. Next time I wear them I will choose thicker socks.

For cosplay boots they were better than I was expecting! Pretty true to the item picture. I'm a size 8 1/2 and I ordered 8-9 M ... they fit perfectly with room for cushion inserts. Very happy with this purchase !
