Beautiful helped me turn my bread into art! Very sharp blades and handy to hold. Good product!

I mean, it's a $10 Lame. It holds razor blades. They should put instructions on the box but it's not hard to figure out. Only received 14 blades.

I like the handle but the metal attachment is a little flimsy made, but it works and gets the job done

This device is used to score your dough when making fancy bread. That's about all there is to it! These are often included with more comprehensive sets, and so I question the need for this, and paying $12 for it at time of review. You're probably better off spending a few more dollars and getting a set with some bread proofing baskets. In any case, it's what you think it is, including razor blades.

This was my first experience with a bread lame, so I can say it does the job and it is good for beginners. Although you can find and buy razors, I liked that it came with 15 razors, more than enough to start on your way with it. I was a little worried that I might cut myself while trying to place it, but all went well. It is lightweight and easy to hold. The metal rod can flex in one direction, but it stays rigid in the direction that you will make the cuts. Not much else to say, except that I am happy with it.
