The walls of the cups are thick giving the unit a heavier weight which helps with even baking. Out of habit the first time I greased the cups before pouring in the batter, but my second batch I didn't and they still came out properly. Easy to clean, and use. I am using a basic recipe out of a 1934 cookbook

Pop overs were a holy trail for my parents. Perfect 'puff', perfect crust and perfect dry interior. My mom could never quite justify the cost of this kind of pan. But I can! Ok mom, let's make popovers!

I've been trying to get the perfect popovers for so long just using your typical muffin tins, and they never popped up, but I found this, amazing! Now my popovers are perfection. Very durable, perfect for baking.

I had never heard of these. The pan worked as advertised and the popovers were delicious! More of a breakfast item to me rather than side bread with a meal.
