Nice set of silicone leads, just wish the Fluke 87-5 came with these so I wouldn't have to buy this extra set.

I, as an electronics technician, have owned numerous pairs of these leads. They are great for probing wiring. They will penetrate the insulating jacket when required. They also will make excellent contact through oxidation on connections. Most technicians that I have worked with do not own a pair of these. They do always borrow mine though. They are needle sharp. I occasionally have to hone them to maintain a point. They are not necessary, but they can often make the work much easier.

I bought these and they broke on me the second day. I messaged Fluke about it and they sent me a new set to replace the one that broke. I had used a set like this for 5 years and I absolutely love these leads. They do not get tangle as easily and are much more flexible than the standard set.
