Big flipper works as described. Works on Sony tv with Dish hopper. I would give this part 5 stars. The 2 star is because I purchased new product and received used product. It was opened and has sharpie markings on the bottom. It says 23 S Looper.

The remote is simple and perfect for your loved one. The programming buttons are hidden so that they cannot change the settings. The company answers the phone and helps with the set up the TV if you need so. Perfect for elderly and dementia people. Would recommend to buy.

I did like the simplicity idea behind this remote. The position of the channel button and volume button s are a bit awkward. I was in hopes it would be helpful for my mom who has dementia. Unfortunately it was difficult for her use. It might have been helpful if the on off button was marked. I did notice a bit of delay when pushing buttons to change channel there is a bit of lag. Good concept. Just didn't work well for our needs

This is a game changer for our family. My dad had 2 remotes and got into a lot of issues with this. Set up for the tv was easy, the cable box was harder because it is Falcon and I did not have a code. I called the customer service and they called me back. Helped me get it set up and now we have one easy remote that controls the tv and box. I taped off the bottom and showed him how to use it. He was so happy. Thank you for a great product!!

The buttons quit working. My mother with dementia pressed continuously and pretty hard. The whole remote lasted about 2 weeks.

Bought this for my dad who is going blind. It was really easy to set up for his TV and Directv box. So much simpler for him to use and he loves it.

When trying to flip through the channels using this remote, you have to wait for the channel to actually change before pushing the button to change to the next channel. Some of the channels on Xfinity take a few seconds to actually load - you can see the channel name and determine you don't actually want to stop at that channel - but you can't move forward until it fully loads. It also doesn't always change to the correct channel. For long channel numbers (like four digit number), the television/cable box might only receive the first two or three numbers so it changes to that channel instead of the channel that is actually programmed into the flipper remote. I purchased it for an elderly person, but it's much too frustrating and difficult for them to use. Good idea but very poor implementation.

Product makes sense and probably works with most cable boxes, however it does not work with Xfinity cable boxes. I recently moved my mother to an assisted living facility and set up her cable with Xfinity. The favorite channel feature defaulted to the "search" function on Xfinity and more often then not did not change the channel properly when hitting the up or down button. The flipper customer service was very responsive and tried to assist me, but it still did not work. It probably works great for other cable boxes, but not Xfinity.

Simple buttons for the elderly or otherwise challenged with the massive amount of buttons and remotes needed for some setups. Had some difficulty programming a code for a very niche cable box. Support was great and we got it working perfectly.

Was purchased for my mother-in-law. She loves it now that she can easily find the buttons on the remote. She has limited eye sight so this remote is perfect for her.
