I bought this shredder after my previous two shredders jammed and self destructed. I haven't used it much but so far so good. The jam proof features will indicate if an item is too thick to prevent you from inserting it, and if it starts to shred something that wasn't too thick to insert but too tough to proceed shredding, it will stop and reverse out the unshredded portion so no wrestling to retreive your half shredded documents from the steel jaws. My only complaint is the waste drawer doesn't have rails so is kind of clunky and difficult to align sliding back in and I don't like the user interface. The shredder has to be powered on first by a rocker switch in the back and then by a touch power button. I dislike the touch power button. It's redundant, and I power off with the rocker switch because it's faster.

I really like this shredder. It doesnt make a mess when you empty it, never had a jam, not too loud, is on wheels. Just all good!
