These crown clips saved the day since my helper never showed to help me install 400 ft of 5 1/4 crown on 12 foot ceilings in lengths up to 16' ft. I am professional trim carpenter and used to use 12p finish nails to hold the crown up but they always end up bending and sending your piece of crown crashing to the floorI highly recommend this product!

They worked ok for the first day but when I was 2 1/2 stories up doing a staircase ceiling 16 ft. of 5 1/2 inch crown came falling down when all 3 hangers snapped.. I came close to falling 2 1/2 stories down but i caught my balance on my walk board. The crown mold did fall all the way down scratching the wall in multiple places and putting several dents in the MAHOGANY STAIRCASE. I am pretty pi*****ed off and would not recommend these hangers there are much better ones available .

These worked great for me. Sturdy and a great fit for many sizes of molding.Takes a few trials and errors to get the right screw length and positioning but once you got it down you will be happy you bought these. Makes installing crown molding fast when doing it yourself.
