Looks strong and good quality. My only concern is that the last rubber cord is too thick........... to pass through the tool's (screw driver) hole. In that case you might need an additional piece of paracord.

Dropped my drill off a ladder, so I decided to get these. Cheaper than replacing a tool because you drop it. Would recommend these unless you hate your tools.

I climb all over roller coasters up to 175 feet up. You don't want to drop your tools. This works great to keep your tools with you.

I'm an elevator mechanic and recently lost a Milwaukee drill to the pit monster. There was no surviving the 20 story fall. So to protect the siblings from a similar fate they've all received protection. They have not been needed yet but I know they'll be fine now that they are secured. Very easy to attach and clip to any good point. I have them on the cable shackles because it's a good central point where I can reach the whole top of the elevator.

I used these for a work-positioning project last week. I was using a Milwaukee M18 Fuel Cordless grinder with a 6Ah battery (a heavy combination). These lanyards worked extremely well in slowing it's fall when I dropped it. Barely even felt the tension of the drop on my waist belt. Much cheaper than the name-brand lanyards and they work just as well.
