Got this today and tried it on a BMW '99 528i to check out a new fuel pressure regulator. The BMW fuel rail has a Schrader valve but it required the extra Ford brass fitting (included in the package) to attach this gauge.<br /><br />I subtracted a star because the brass fittings had metal shavings and burrs inside that would have potentially jammed in the Schrader valve and prevented it from closing when this gauge is removed, posing the risk of fuel spewing everywhere and possibly igniting on hot engine parts. Not good.

I bought this fuel injection gauge to help diagnose a problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I thought the problem was the fuel pump and fuel filter. Pulling the gas tank was not my ideal way of spending the weekend and $$$. I bought the tester and hooked it up to the fuel rail and did a pressure test - all the fuel system was right up to specs. Sure saved me some time and money.
