This replacement drain valve installed easily, will all of the gaskets and tightening nuts working as advertised. It's been a huge upgrade from the builder grade drain assembly and the pop up/down drain stop function works really well.

I purchased two and they were easy to install. They are working great! I love the popup feature. Seems like those stoppers that pull up are always breaking.

We recently got a vanity that didn’t have a valve overflow hole and my drain wasn’t to rite drain so I looked at KES drain was easy to install and was made with quality materials and affordable. I would recommend this drain to anyone who is looking for a drain that’s easy to clean and has a nice sink stopper plus it matched to exact flat black sink I have

Drain worked exactly as advertised! I have beat around the bush and tried every which way I can to make my bathroom sink drain work by rigging something up but with no luck. This $20 piece went in flawlessly and proved my wife correct, just buy a new drain and stop trying to make it work. Note taken.

I couldn’t find a matte black sink drain in the box stores so, I ordered this. Quality seems good and it was super easy to install. It appears to function well and it matches the faucet perfectly.

Just over a year after installing, black paint chips have appeared. Very noticable when standing in front of sink, will need replaced.

Easy to install without tools and is really nice quality. It seals nicely and opens easily with a slight touch. The finish is super nice too. Highly recommended.

I don't normally leave reviews, positive or negative, but this item merits a good rating. It's much better quality than I expected for the price. It's well made and comes with everything you need including a small roll of Teflon tape. It only took several minutes to install using just a pair of adjustable pilers and works perfectly with a good solid click when pushed down in the locking position.

Installation was easy and straight forward. Removing the old drain took a lot more time. The build quality seems good. Only time will tell if it holds. So far, I did not have any leak issues. I did not use plumbers putty. I only used the provided gasket. This model makes it easy to clean the drain. You can unscrew the top, and you have easy access for maintenance. This is the main reason that led me to replace my old stopper, as gunk built up and mold developed. There were many spots in which gunk could cling to and this stopper did not. The only negative I see is that the water pools around the drain. It does not completely drain because it does not sit completely flush. Only time will tell how much of a problem this would be in the future. I could wipe the drain after every use to prevent problems, but that is not something I should have to do.

If you use the supplied silicone gasket it will under the lip of the pop up drain, it elevates the lip such that the water will pool around the lip. To resolve the issue use plumbers putty instead of the silicone gasket so that the lip sits flush with the bottom of the sink.

The hardest--and most gross--part of the install was getting the old one out. Once that was out and everything cleaned, it was very easy. I didn't use the pipe tape nor did I use putty; the washer worked well for my particular sink with no leaks at all. I chose this drain because of the quality of the parts. The price point is excellent (for the product) and I got it very quickly. I am a 71 year old woman and was able to get this done easily and quickly with no problems. I highly recommend! Just remember to make sure your sink needs a drain without overflow and that the hole in your sink will fit the diameter of this unit.
