Allowed me to quickly troubleshoot a Pulse Generator on a Honda ATV. It plugs directly into my Fluke 87V multimeter. Definitely recommend.

I like the 640 DVA adapter because it allows you to take a measurement for troubleshooting that you wouldn't be able to with just a standard DVM (unless it had the record function). it gives you a real time look at what's going on. a good inexpensive investment.

Worked very well when testing stator on 05 trx450r. Instructions come with boat engines as what this tool is for but works well finding peak voltage.

Fit into my standard multimeter with no fuss and worked first time, helped me solve my CDI problem on the outboard (turned out I had two elements failing - CDI AND the stator). This tool is invaluable for ignition diagnosis.

This is a must have for CDI ignition systems in outboards, snowmobiles and motorcycles. I spent hours letting a 1995 60 hp Johnson outboard drive me crazy with intermittent ignition problems. I bought this tool, hooked it up to my multimeter, and determined the problem was the timer base. It took me an hour or so to figure this out - and I've been fighting this motor for a month! I could probably conduct the tests now in about 30 minutes. I bought the part, installed it, and the engine fired right up! I'm heading in for a celebratory cold beer right now. Quite procrastinating and buy this tool!
